About Artwork
Perhaps I need to really say – “about Rob” here as the artwork in question here is so totally at the mercy of the the artists eccentricities that you could go so far as to say that Rob is retired.
It would be the safest version of a truthful comment.
What it really means is this.
when I went into art on a full time basis I spent the first 6 to 8 months testing a very large variety of different styles. I did this both to see what I was enjoying the most and naturally to see which style had a commercial application.
My favorite of all the tested styles was what I called CROOK ART, this was fast graphic modern style using mixed media and big canvasses and big brushes.
I now realize that I am more attracted to the type of art that takes a month to plan, then takes a month to create build or construct and then finally takes a third month to get the final coloring and details correct.
Well you can then see that most of my artwork will now start to come out of the system at the rate of at least three months income as a pricing.
More importantly I have discovered that it is those ones that I do not want to sell.
So do you now see where my character comes across as a little quirky.
